Ink & piercing

Tattoo & ear piercing

A tattoo or piercing stays with you, so the process starts with a proper conversation — design, placement, size, timing and aftercare — before any work begins.

Consultation

Start with a conversation

Every tattoo begins with a consultation. It's also the right time to ask any questions about the process and the salon's practices.
Design
Your idea, references, and whether it's custom or adapted.
Size & placement
Where it will sit on the body and how it will age.
Sittings
Whether the work can be done in one session or several.
Preparation
What to eat, wear and avoid before your appointment.

Hygiene

Hygiene practices

Hygiene matters with any tattoo or piercing. Before your appointment, ask the salon to talk you through its hygiene and equipment practices — a good studio will be happy to explain.

Aftercare

Looking after it

You'll receive aftercare instructions from the salon at your appointment. Follow them closely, and contact a medical professional if you notice signs of infection or an unusual reaction.

Photos shown here are representative stock images used for illustration. They are not photos of the salon's clients or work. The salon's own portfolio will replace them.
